Aeroduct range of Flexible Duct Connector fabrics receives UL Classification

Aeroduct Duct Connector Fabrics recently acheived UL Classification as per the NPFA 701 standards.
Clients, Consultants, and Contractors related to the MEP industry , now have the added advantage of UL Classification when using the Aeroduct range of Flexible Duct Connectors. This step further reiteriates the commitment from Hira Industries to manufacture products meeting the highest international standards. National, regional, city , Civil Defence and other municipality regulatory requirements establish that materials used in bulding construction be certified or evaluated by a recognized third party before they can be approved for use. All these institutions readily accept UL classification as a mark for quality products.

The UL testing on Aeroduct fabrics cover Neoprene and Silicon coated Fiberglass fabrics, and Vinyl fabrics. A flame is applied on each sample and parameters tested include flame spread, Afterglow and Flame Dripping. Besides UL listing, Aeroduct fabrics are also rated Class 1 as per BS 476, Part 7; Class 1 as per ASMT E 84 and Aeroduct Silicon is the only fabric which is rated for use at 400 deg C for 2 hrs. The UL classified range of fabrics are also used to manufacture Aeroduct Insulated Duct Connectors.
